The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Center for Endowment Consultancy (MBR Endowment) launched the “Bread for All” initiative, which aims to support needy families and laborers by providing bread for free at various times throughout the day via smart devices in local markets.

Poor people and wayfarers can get bread from ten machines across Dubai for free around the clock under the initiative. Also, donors can put their donations in the machine to support the initiative.

“Anyone in need can just click on a button ‘Ask for bread’ and wait for a while until bread is prepared and then he can get it easily,” said Zeinab Gomaa Al Tamimi, head of the MBR Endowment, in media remarks to Dubai TV on Tuesday.

The World Bank confirmed in 2020 that the poverty rate among UAE nationals is zero.

In the United States, the number of poor citizens reached 3.2 million, while the poverty rate was 0.1% and the poverty gap was 0.9%.
